There are rumors that Vivo is going to launch its X100 series soon. We have heard leaks about this series before, and this time, a significant leak has surfaced, suggesting that this series will feature a powerful MediaTek processor that can compete with Apple’s A17 Pro chip.

Notable points:

  • Vivo X100 series may be launched in November.
  • The X100 series could be launched with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor.
  • This series may come with a 200MP periscope camera.

We might get a glimpse of the Vivo X100 series soon, and there have been continuous leaks about this series. Previously, leaks about the camera specs of this series were revealed, and this time, tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked information about the powerful Dimensity 9300 processor in this series. It is said that this processor will rival Apple’s latest A17 Pro chip. MediaTek has developed this processor on the next-gen N4P process, which will make it more powerful and power-efficient than the N4 and N5.

This octa-core processor will have 4 Cortex-X4 and 4 Cortex-A720 cores, which will boost its performance by 15 percent. Additionally, power consumption will be reduced by 40 percent. This will also be MediaTek’s most powerful 5G processor to date. Although Apple’s A17 Pro chip is built on a 3nm process, the Dimensity 9300 is still expected to be competitive.

Before this, camera specs for the Vivo X100 series were leaked, including a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 200MP periscope camera. It was also mentioned that it would have a 120Hz OLED display and an ultrasonic sensor. However, the most significant aspect is the processor. There is no official confirmation or available benchmarks for it yet, so we can’t put too much trust in this news at the moment.

Vivo has already confirmed that they will launch the X100 series before the end of the year. Let’s see what innovations this series brings. Additionally, Snapdragon is also planning to launch its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset soon.
