Realme C53 is set to launch during the “Big Saving Days” sale on Flipkart, which will run from July 15th to July 19th. The company will unveil it on July 19th at 12 PM. This model was previously launched by Realme in Malaysia in May, featuring a 50MP primary camera. However, the Indian variant will come with a 108MP camera. Apart from this, Realme has revealed several other specifications. Let’s discuss these specifications and the expected price.

Design and Display:

In terms of the display, the phone features a 6.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It offers a peak brightness of 560 nits and comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. There is a punch-hole camera located at the top of the display. The phone has a slim design with a thickness of 7.99mm, although it is slightly thicker compared to the Malaysian variant.

Cameras:

Turning our attention to the camera department, the standout feature of this phone is its 108MP main camera. With a dual camera setup, this phone offers a lot in terms of camera capabilities. The camera features various modes such as night photography, portrait mode, and street photography mode. It also offers a 3x zoom mode. The main camera allows you to capture 1080p videos at 30fps. As for the front camera, it may be an 8MP camera, but this is not confirmed yet.

Performance:

Realme has not revealed many other specifications of this phone, but it might come with the Unisoc Tiger T612 chipset, running at a speed of 1.8GHz, and an octa-core processor. It is expected to have 6GB of RAM, with an additional 5GB of virtual RAM. The built-in memory will be 128GB, although it is not confirmed whether there will be another variant available. The phone can support a memory card of up to 2TB for expandable storage.

Battery:

The phone is equipped with a massive 5000mAh battery, which can be charged using 18W quick charge (Realme claims that it supports 18W quick charging). It can reach 50% charge in 52 minutes. According to Realme, the battery can provide up to 16 hours of video playback and 81 hours of music playback. It is possible that the phone will also support reverse charging.

Connectivity and Price:

In terms of connectivity, the phone will support 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C v2.0. It will run on Android v13 and feature a side fingerprint sensor. Considering the presence of Realme UI, it is expected that the phone may come with some pre-installed applications. Let’s wait for the phone to launch to see what else it has to offer. The expected price for this phone is around Rs. 13,000. If it falls within this price range, it would be a good deal.
