Realme C53 Launched with Impressive 108MP Camera in India

Realme has launched its latest smartphone, the Realme C53, in India. This phone was previously launched in Malaysia with a 50MP camera. However, the Indian variant boasts a highlight of a 108MP camera and an impressive battery.

Storage Options and Price:

The Realme C53 is available in two variants in India: 4GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at ₹9,999, and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage priced at ₹10,999. The phone also supports up to 6GB of virtual RAM. It can be pre-ordered exclusively through Flipkart and Realme’s online store. There’s an early bird offer valid until 26th July (when the sale begins) that provides an instant discount of ₹500 on selected credit cards.

Compared to the original C53, this version has some improvements and some drawbacks. The charging speed is reduced from 33W to 18W, but it still features a 5000mAh battery.

Camera, Display and Other Specs:

The camera is one of the major highlights, with a 108MP main camera (the largest camera in the C-series). It offers 3x lossless image zoom. However, it lacks an ultra-wide camera, but it includes a B&W lens and an 8MP front camera with a notch instead of a punch hole, which Realme calls the “mini capsule.”

The Realme C53 sports a 6.74-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Unisoc T612 chipset.

In terms of other features, the phone has a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding storage up to 2TB. It also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C 2.0 port, and a single loudspeaker at the bottom. The phone supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on Realme UI T Edition based on Android 13.

Overall, the Realme C53 offers a competitive package with a powerful camera, good display, and expandable storage options.
