ChatGPT Goes Live on Android: OpenAI Launches AI Language Model on Google Play Store

Finally, ChatGPT is now available for the Android platform. OpenAI has launched its AI language model on the Google Play Store on 25th July. If you had pre-registered for it earlier, it would have been automatically installed on your Android device.

ChatGPT was released on the Android platform two months after its release on iOS. The app is free to download from the Google Play Store. It is quite small in size (5.2MB) and has a clean and simple interface. Currently, it is available in India, US, Bangladesh, and Brazil. It will be released in other countries in the coming weeks.

To use the ChatGPT Android app, you need an Android device running Android 6.0 or later, which can support it. There is also a Premium plan available for ChatGPT called “ChatGPT Plus.” By activating this plan, you can enjoy the benefits of the GPT-4 model and some additional features.

How to install ChatGPT Android app:

  1. Simply go to the Google Play Store and search for “ChatGPT.”
  2. Once you find the ChatGPT app, tap on the install button, and the app will be installed on your device.
  3. Login using your Google account, Apple account, or email.
  4. After logging in, you are ready to use the ChatGPT app.

Once you log in to the ChatGPT app, your account history will automatically sync, allowing you to access your previous prompts as well.
